This is our preliminary task, this was done to test our ability to use continuity editing and generally explore different shots and angles with the cameras. Important elements to include were Opening a door, two lines of dialogue in a conversation, a variation of interesting/unusual shots.
This task has really helped us develop our ideas and introduced us to editing techniques such as time stretching and use of non-digetic sound.
We used a varied amount of shots in this task. One of the shots that worked well was the tracking shot of zoe walking, to which we made the shot a p.o.v to which marco was following zoe.
ReplyDeleteAnother shot, though it took a long time in editing to make look good, that worked well was the high angle shot to which we made look like a cctv camera. In our editing we added the clock-timer at the bottom right hand to make it look more realistic like a cctv.
Overall i think our preliminary task was a success and really helped us developed our camera and editing skills.
Excellent, very funny and interesting shots to which work, a little sticky with the editing though towards the end, do you know what happened there.
