A possible technique that we could use is the way that the titles cut in and out of the images to make a sentence and inflicts a huge dramatic impact if we added it to other parts of the horror mise-en-scene. What do you think, Zoe and Jodie?
yes, really like this techinique, it looks quite simple to replicate as well. Also, i think that the blackouts in between shots are really effective and would be suitable for a psychological horror, because it is creating an enigma.
