Once a production is completed by writer and director the next stage of the process is to find a distributor for marketing and selling their product to the different parts of the release process. This is a key part of the process and is vitally important to a successful film.Our media product would be distributed by a independent distribution company for exhibition in art house cinema's as it is a low budget film with a small/specialised target audience. This is because our film is to suit a niche market as it is based around the same convention of Japanese films. Our film would possible be distributed by a company such as Caravan Film a Independent British Film Production Company.
The likelihood of an industrial company such as 20th Century Fox distributing our product is very small because it is a small budgeted film, they promote film to which bring a large income to them and distribute to multiplexes such as Cineworld.
